All of my jewelry is handmade. I learned to string pearls from one of my pearl farmer friends, ant the first thing I learned about pearl stringing is that putting a knot between each pearl using only my fingers is an art. It took me six months to get good at stringing pearls. Many of my pearl necklaces are one of a kind necklaces or limited editions.
One of the greatest problems in the pearl world is that 99.9% of the people selling pearls know nothing about pearls. Most of what I know about pearls I learned from Chinese pearl farmers and in a pearl factory in Suzhou China. The rest I learned from experts who have written books about pearls.
