These 12mm pearls are what I call Jumbonie pearls. From 1997 until 2007 I have only been able to buy three of these necklaces. I kept the first one for myself, and it’s one of my favorite necklaces.
The second Jumbonie pearl necklace I sold to a friend in 2000. And the third necklace I gave to my daughter for her wedding. I bought my daughter’s necklace from Hangzhou Pearl farmers who brought pearls to my apartment in Shanghai, China.
In 2010 I saw pearls like these at a jewelry store in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The price was over $3,000.00. Pearl Fever is selling these jumbonie for $960.00. In 2017, the price on these pearls should be at least $3,000.00.
In June of this year I was thrilled to be able to get thirteen stands of these jumbonies. I have already sold some of these necklaces.
